I was a student at Center Grove High School and as far as everything goes I hated it. There was construction in middle of classes. We would be forced to take tests with all that noice going on. I had some very good teachers and some that they could honestly care less about your education. The attendence and nurses are incredibly rude. I had my parent call in one time saying I was sick, not knowing the rule was that I had to go to nurse first. They got very angry at me and when I said I was in trouble to my mom they got even more mad and started talking about to another student sitting in the nurses about what I did. The attendence ladies will just throw your passes at you and this is said by a lot of students. I really didnt like Center Grove High School.
Center Grove is an excellent school system. I attended Maple Grove Elementary School, Center Grove Middle School Central, and Center Grove High School. My experience with CG prepared me for college more than I thought it would. Once I got to college, I realized just how much CG did to prepare me. They also do an amazing job of presenting extracurricular activities, providing places for every student to fit in.
Definitely a better school all around. Staff who cared and an opportunity to be part of any program. Music program is top notch under Me. Dirks.
Went to this school through high school back from 93-96. Horrible experience because from Freshman year through end of Senior year they had a major construction project to revamp pretty much the entire school. It made focusing very hard not to mention having drywall dust coveribg my shoes everyday. I did not enjoy the experience at all.
Great place to enjoy a football game! Good food stand and excellent facilities!
