Sent my mother to have them add a little power steering fluid to her car. I'm a mechanic, but was out of town. They charged her ten dollars to tell her it had a hose leaking and the pump was shot. They then proceeded to tell her they couldn't add fluid to it because they don't top off fluids when they service your vehicle. Really??? They wanted over six hundred dollars to fix her leak. I replaced a 35 dollar hose and added fluid to the pump that was "shot". Avoid this place if possible. What this place does gives mechanics a bad name.
I probably should have gave them a 1. I have lived in a few different states over the last 6 yrs and Tires plus was always my go to for any repair work or tires for my car. When I came back to Indiana I came to the his location for a simple oil change. I had been to this location numerous times and loved the manager and staff. There were new faces this time. After driving my car for to work and home the next day. A message came across my screen saying that I need to turn off my engine NOW. I freaked out because I was on the highway. The car still seemed to be running fine though. I took it back there and they said I needed a new sensor and it would be over $200 dollars and that I had to get it done or it could cause some serious damage. Luckily they did not have the part in stocks because I almost had them do it. Later that day my fiance, who use to work on cars, took a look at it. He said that my sensor was loose and all he had to do was screw it back it. That was about 8 months ago and I still haven't had an issue like that again. So I could have been out 100s of dollars. I felt cheated and now you've lost a customer for life.
I just took 2 of my cars in for alignments after replacing every part of the front suspension on one and every part of the front AND rear suspension on the other. I didn't get my alignment printouts when I left, and had to ask for them. Once I saw them, I knew why.
For those of you that don't know much about alignments, the state they left them in after deeming them "acceptable" will cause my tires to wear at least twice as fast as they should, and their tire warranty does not cover "abnormal wear". What a perfect scam.
Save your money, and definitely DONT buy the lifetime alignment they try to sell you. They won't actually align your car. Aligning a car takes work and attention to detail, and that is something that this company sorely lacks.
Wonderful staff that go above and beyond what I expected. Better prices than their competition and even drove me back to my car. And then they called to check up on me and make sure I got my tire on with no trouble. Great service definitely will be coming back.
One car had the camber off by over a full degree on all 4 wheels, and the other had it out by over 2 degrees! I had bought the SPECIFIC camber adjustment bolts THEY told me to buy and had them professionally installed, and the response was "that's as close as we could get it".
Extremely satisfied! I think I've been coming here for 5 or 6 years with all 4 of my cars. I think I've bought 5 or 6 sets if tires over these years. I have all my oil changes and tire rotations done here. Brock and Heather know me by name. They and the rest if the staff are very professional and friendly, and they know their products and services very well. Its always a great experience when I go there. I appreciate how they let me know suggestions on things that should be done to my car without being pushy and obnoxious . I can't imagine going anywhere else for my tire and oil change needs.
