I used to love this place so much, but the quality of it's food has decreased a little. Not sure if it's just this location. Food is still good but not good enough to go 2-3 times a month like I used to. Service was awesome though!
My boyfriend wanted to take me here today (cause I'd never been), but no service, not bad service..just literally no service. The host was nice and took us straight to a table when we walked in.. We waited at least 20 minutes without a server ever coming to the table...she looked at us twice.. We were ready to spend whatever to eat lunch and have dessert, but you don't even greet and get drink orders after 20+ minutes, then whatever. I'll happily go elsewhere and spend my money on a place that appreciates ALL their customers.
Best. Dining. Experience. Ever! Smokey Bones feels kind of hidden away in Greenwood. To start, their drinks are amazing! Never in my life had I received a drink that had a coronita bottle affixed to it. Appetizer wise, the s/o and I consider ourselves to be buffalo wing snobs. In saying that, you know I can be very passionate about wings. THESE WERE INCREDIBLE! Just so you don't in any uncertain terms understand me, the best wings I've ever had. They were crispy still when you bit in, fried to perfection and sauced perfectly! The ribs I had were great as well, not as amazing as I was expecting being called smokey bones but they dropped off a paper bag for our bones and that was really unique. The service was great too. Our server was on it all night and never in a hovering way. Definitely give this place a try.
Went after 10 which means minimal staff but it was still great service. The bartender really kicked butt! The food came out hot and decently quickly. It's no McDonald's fast but it's very good for minimal staff. Great food!!!
A bit more expensive than I expected but SOOO worth it! Quite possibly the best pulled pork I've ever had! Great service too : )
