My daughter and I are both being treated for separate issues at this clinic. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and responsive to all of my questions and/or concerns. The doctor and his assistants have provided the best in care on every appointment. I'm impressed most by Dr. Carroll's thoroughness in making sure you understand the anatomy of the foot, the current condition, and lastly the treatment that is recommended and why. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of foot care.
NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. I may lose my toe. The culprit is Dr. Carroll. There was a minor ingrown nail in my right great toe. Dr. Carroll cut it out and immediately, by the time I drove 5 miles home, the incision had swollen, turned purple and red, and oozed with pus. This quack screwed up a very minor surgery, causing tremendous pain and my being unable to use the entire foot. The infection worsened and I called his office with that complaint. The MORON who answered the phone said, "How do you know it's infected? What a brainless wonder working there. I wanted to tell her, "Ill stick it up your arse and you can find out it's infected.. The MORON refused to let me see Dr. Carroll for three days! So I went to my PCP who correctly diagnosed my toe as infected, he treated the wound and gave me antibiotic. Too bad Dr. Carroll is not a real doctor. I went back to Southside a week later with my toe still oozing puss and swollen. This A$$ of a physician had to admit that his "work" wasn't humane and it was he who was the cause of my toe being nearly amputated. DO NOT GO TO THIS HIDEOUS PLACE
I went to the clinic on June 1, 2016 to get more cream for my foot fungus. The assistant charged me $20 and then realized it was the wrong cream. She said she deleted that charge. I got the right cream and paid for it with my debit card. I have that receipt. I just got a bill for the $20 which was supposed to be deleted, it was not. I called their billing service and was told it would take 4-5 days to investigate. It's been 5 days and no call back. I went back to the office to try to resolve this and was very rudely told by the clerk that they don't do the billling. I am unhappy with this whole process and have cancelled my next appointment and will never go back to this business. Beware if you are thinking of going here!
Dr Wendy is very professional and has always provided my family with excellent service.
I received a $300 bill for an appointment that consisted of xrays and a foot wrapping, and I have insurance. I was given pills and the boot. Then when I cancelled the next appointment I got charged a cancellation fee. When I try to call about billing questions, there's only 1 person in charge of billing and she is there part of the day and part of the week, so good luck getting any issues resolved. I just called up there to pay my bill and the girl was not very friendly. Please go elsewhere.
